Qatar Airways was delighted to host members of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs to enjoy a festive Ramadan evening and a Sohour at Al Sharq Village and Spa recently. Qatar Airways Senior Management welcomed more than 200 guests to the Sohour to enjoy a traditional food buffet with Moroccan music performed by a live band followed by a Tannoura show.

Mrs. Salam AlShawa, Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Marketing and Corporate Communications and Mr. Ehab Amin, Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Commercial – Qatar, both welcomed the guests with Mr. Ehab saying: “Qatar Airways is pleased to welcome the members of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs and host this Sohour on the occasion of the month of compassion and giving. And we look forward to continued cooperation with the Society on a number of areas to serve the members and civil society in the State of Qatar.”

Speaking about the Society and Qatar Airways moving steadily towards a lasting and multi-faceted cooperation, Mr. Amir AlMulla, Executive Manager of Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs said: “We are ready for continued cooperation between the two parties where we are prepared to provide training courses for the Qatar Airways staff to introduce them to the best ways to assist those with special needs such as the use of Sign Language.”

Members of the Qatar Society for Rehabilitation of Special Needs expressed their gratitude to Qatar Airways for the continued support.Ghanim AlMuftah and Nejoud AlKubaisi led a note of thanks on stage on behalf of a number of the Society’s members.Subsequently the society provided a trophy of appreciation to Qatar Airways. Guests walked away from the Sohour with chocolates courtesy of Qatar Duty Free, as well as pictures from the Qatar Airways customised selfie photo-booth.
