Qatar Airways is pleased to be the Official Airline Sponsor of the 5th Katara European Jazz Festival 2018, taking place from 6-10 November 2018 at Katara Cultural Village at the Katara Esplanade.
 
Music lovers will be able to enjoy performances featuring artists from 13 European countries, including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Switzerland. The concerts will offer a rich programme featuring various styles of jazz, including bebop, jazz fusion, swing music, traditional and smooth jazz, cool jazz and West Coast jazz. Qatar Airways is proud to be flying in 44 musicians to Doha to showcase their talent at this year’s festival.

Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, said: “The Katara European Jazz Festival has become one of the most prominent events organised at Katara by bringing in a very significant kind of art to Doha: music. This year, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) has dedicated a larger venue for the festival, in line with the increasing number of visitors and participants in this year’s event. The festival also draws a large audience of different nationalities, and attracts many fans worldwide.”

The 5th Katara European Jazz Festival 2018 is free of charge and runs from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from 6-10 November at the Katara Esplanade. Qatar Airways was recently named ‘World’s Best Business Class’ by the 2018 World Airline Awards, managed by international air transport rating organisation Skytrax. It was also named ‘Best Business Class Seat’, ‘Best Airline in the Middle East’, and ‘World’s Best First Class Airline Lounge’. The national carrier for the State of Qatar is one of the world’s fastest-growing airlines, with a modern fleet of more than 200 aircraft flying to business and leisure destinations across six continents. The award-winning airline recently revealed a host of upcoming new global destinations, including Gothenburg, Sweden; Da Nang, Vietnam and Mombasa, Kenya.
