Qatar Airways is proud to participate at the 3rd Government Procurement and Contracting Conference and Exhibition – Moushtarayat, taking place in Doha from 23 to 25 April 2018. During the conference, Qatar Airways will discuss potential procurement opportunities for small and medium enterprises (SMEs), such as supplier registration for developing supplier lists for future tender processes.

Moushtarayat aims to create opportunities for local suppliers and small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by providing access to network prominent buyers and suppliers for government, semi-government, and large private entities.

Qatar Airways Senior Vice President Procurement, Mr. Liazid Benkoussa, said: “Qatar Airways is pleased to be a part of the Government Procurement and Contracting Conference and Exhibition, Moushtarayat. As a great supporter of the development of local businesses, we aim to transform the procurement system into one that has a robust local presence. Our support for local suppliers has grown significantly in the past year to witness 21% growth during blockade, and we take pride in that. One of Qatar Airways’ values is showing pride in Qatar, and being a part of the Moushtarayat initiative is a wonderful way to show our support for the local market as well as potential business opportunities.
