Under the patronage of HH the Deputy Emir and Heir Apparent Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Qatar Career Fair 2011 begins today morning at the Doha Exhibition Centre, with participation of 130 government departments and private corporate progress to offer their employment opportunities and development and training and education program for the Qatari youth.

The five - day Fair is organized by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), Qatar Petroleum (QP) and the Emiri Diwan, Qatar University, Ministry of Labour, under the slogan "Write the next chapter in the success of Qatar." The Fair presents opportunities for Qatari youth to create a network of relationships and identify the government agencies, the private sector and the mixed sector in order to gain awareness for their future career as well as to participate in workshops designed to develop their skills to enter the labour market.

The Fair also contributes to supporting the State''s authorities to implement their plans for human resources to achieve the human development within the Qatar National Vision 2030 and National Development Strategy 2011-2016. The annual Fair also provides guidance and professional education in light of the comprehensive progress Qatar is witnessing in all sectors of education, sports and economic, industrial and others in addition to the educational, employment, training and development opportunities for students and graduates to hone their skills through their participation in the workshops, programs and activities .

The exhibition will open to the public on the first day from 3:pm to 8:pm hour, while the rest of the days it opens from 9:am to 8:pm. The Fair will open on Wednesday, April 14 for ladies only from 9:am to 3:pm.
