Qatar Charity (QC) in collaboration with the Organization of Islamic Dawa's office in Doha dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to support refugees from the Central African Republic (CAR) at Seydou refugees camp on borders with Chad, worth QR1000,000, which around 20,000 people will benefit from this aid convoy.
Last week, QC sent a humanitarian aid convoy carrying 140 tonnes of food items in a drive to provide the basic requirements to refugees during the Holy Month, where it was distributed to more than 4000 refugee families who were fleeing the unrest in their country, said QC in a statement. QC, in cooperation with Organization of Islamic Dawa's office in Doha, seek to improve the living conditions of the refugees and provide them with appropriate care besides implementing a set of educational , water and sanitation projects worth more than QR 250 000. QC pointed out that it will build six furnished classes and provide 400 school bags for children.
