Qatar plans to build 2,000 residential villas at a cost of QR10 billion in the next four years. The villas are expected to come up in an area of 2,500,000 sqm in the southern part of Doha.

The plan was discussed at a meeting of the Supreme Council for Economic Affairs and Investment, chaired by the Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, on Wednesday. The villas will be allotted to Qataris coming under the umbrella of the housing system. For more information, please visit this link.
