The government of the State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs (MADLSA), the Kingdom of Sweden and the International Labour Organization (ILO) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on a number of labour-related areas.

The agreement was signed in Doha by Assistant Undersecretary for Labour Affairs, Mohammed Hassan Al Obaidli; Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the State of Qatar, H E Anders Bengtcen, and Head of the International Labour Organization Project Office for the State of Qatar, Houtan Homayounpour. The Memorandum of Understanding aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of occupational health and safety at work and corporate social responsibility through institutional collaboration and the exchange of expertise.
