Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 105.73 points (+1.01%) during this week when the bourse closed Thursday afternoon at 10,534.40 points. Trading value during this week increased by 62.26% to reach QR 1,422,518,511.51 compared to QR 876,668,704.88.
 
Trading volume increased by 57.33% to reach 36,539,802 shares, as against 23,225,422 shares, while the number of transactions rose by 41.55%, to reach 20,286 transactions as compared to 14,331 transactions. Market capitalization rose by 1.03% to reach QR 565,478,608,346.10 as compared to QR 559,687,611,609.08 at the end of previous week. Banking and Financial Services sector led traded value this week with 36.09% of the total traded value. Industries sector accounted for 22.20%. Real Estate sector accounted for 14.49% and Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 9.65%.
 
Banking and Financial Services sector led traded volume this week with 29.8% of the total traded volume. Real Estate sector accounted for 26.58%. Industries sector accounted for 15.86% and Telecoms sector accounted for 10.85%. Banking and Financial Services sector led traded number of transactions this week with 32.11% of the total number of transactions. Industries sector accounted for 22.11%. Real Estate sector accounted for 15.14% and Consumer Goods and Services sector accounted for 11.19%.
 
From the 44 listed companies 30 ended this week higher, while 13 fell and one unchanged. QNB led trading value during this week accounted for 12.09% of the total traded value. Industries Qatar accounted for 8.62% and Masraf Al Rayan accounted for 7.38%.
