The State of Qatar took part in the fourth meeting of the Islamic Executive Bureau for Environment at the ministerial level held on Wednesday at the headquarters of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO).

HE the Minister of Municipality and Environment Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Rumaihi leads Qatar's delegation to the meeting, which discussed the preparations for the Seventh Islamic Conference of Environment Ministers, due to be held on October 25 -26, in cooperation between ISESCO and the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The meeting also reviewed a number of documents and reports to be presented before the upcoming conference. The Islamic Executive Bureau of the Environment consists of representatives of the State of Qatar, Sudan, the United Comoros, Cameroon, Mali, Chad, Azerbaijan and Tajikistan.
