Qatar University announced that the earlier plan of holding its 34th convocation as a joint event for male and female graduates in November this year had been changed. The convocation for the male graduates will be held separately on November 29 and it will be addressed by HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. The second event for girl graduates will be on the following day.

The statement also mentioned that the university organizes dinners at the college level in honor of the graduates, aims to honor outstanding graduates, congratulate all graduates, and to build relationships with the labor market, and other ways to help them after graduation to consolidate the bonds of relationship with their colleges and university.  This also helps them to know more about the Club of graduates, to become members of.

The 34th group of graduates from Qatar University 2001, consists of 248 male graduates and 838 female graduates from various disciplines in the Bachelor's, Diploma and Masters degrees, along with other students expected to graduate by the end of this summer semester (summer 2011), including the first batch of students from BA Pharmacy.
