HEC Paris, ranked number 3 worldwide in Executive Education by the Financial Times, is conducting a custom-designed program for Qatargas Operating Company Limited (Qatargas) as part of the organisation’s vision in providing 'cutting edge’ Leadership Development Programs for its high potential department heads.

The Cadre Leadership Development Program has been specifically designed by HEC Paris in conjunction with Qatargas Learning & Development Department.  The program reflects the company’s commitment to investing in its workforce and delivering programs of the highest quality. This year, 45 leaders were invited to the programme. “The aim of the Leadership Development program is to offer our high potential employees who are in leadership positions, experiential and practical approaches that address real organisational and business challenges,” explained Ghanim Al-Kuwari, Chief Human Capital Officer at Qatargas. He added: “This approach is aligned to the company’s leadership competencies and philosophy.”

Over a period of nine days, HEC Paris in Qatar’s renowned faculty will take participants through core modules in dedicated streams which will examine global industry trends, strategy and decision making, operational excellence and business performance management with a Leading People, Leading Teams and Leading for Performance approach.

The modules are being delivered by a cadre of seven world-class faculty including Associate Professor Andrea Masini, the program’s Academic Director who heads the HEC Paris MBA program. The program’s teaching faculty also includes: Affiliate Professor Jean Michel Gauthier, Executive Director of the Energy & Finance Chair at HEC Paris; Affiliate Professor Randall P. White, Academic Coordinator of Leadership courses in HEC Executive MBA; Elie Matta, an Associate Professor of Management; Olivier Sibony, Affiliate Professor Strategy and Business Policy; Simon Elliott, Senior Lecturer and Sebastian Becker, Associate Professor Accounting and Management Control.
