Qatar Charity (QC) has distributed food baskets to 6,050 Yemeni families in 15 governorates at a cost of over QR2m, said The Peninsula. Ibrahim Ali Abdullah, Director, Relief Department, QC, said the project was part of a plan to fill the gap in food shortages and thanked  Qatari benefactors and residents for donations. QC said it distributed food baskets to displaced persons affected by ongoing incidents in the country.
