QMMF Racing Team riders Mishel Al Naimi, Carlos Cardús and Nasser al Malki improved again on the final day of practice at Qatar, and are now ready for battle for at their home Grand Prix on the 5.380 kilometre Losail circuit.

"In general we are quite satisfied with the way practice went, especially when we look at the progress our riders made over the three days of practice", said team coordinator Luis Solano. "Mishel had set-up problems the last two days but managed to fix the bike in the end. Nasser is quick in is his first Moto2 race, and he is relaxed because he has nothing to lose but a lot to win. Ricky worked his way through a few set-backs, but I am sure that he will show his true potential in the race!"

Mishel Al Naimi (38th in 2.04,875):
"I made a big change to our setting from yesterday and the bike felt much better. But I need to keep working because I am still slow and I know I can do much better. The bike helped me a little bit more than yesterday because we finally found a good set-up. My problem now is the gearbox as it doesn't feel right in some points. In the race, I hope for a good start and to be able to follow some other riders."

Ricard Cardús (22nd in 2.02,505):
"We solved our problem with the clutch yesterday, but in the qualifying session, my bike developed some front end chatter and I couldn't quite ride the way I would have liked to. I still managed to go a bit faster and we are still working on the settings of the bike. I hope everything will come together for the race!"

Nasser Al Malki (39th in 2.05,299):
"I have been faster than yesterday but I still seem to be slow. In the race I will push as hard as I can and I hope to improve my lap times by one or two seconds. In a race you never know what happens, maybe we can cause a small surprise!"
