RasGas volunteers from Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Group recently took part in a recycling awareness session at Simaisma Primary Independent School for boys, with more than 100 children aged from 6 to 12 years in attendance.

The initiative was part of RasGas’ Corporate Social Responsibility programme, through which it aims to build awareness on the importance of protecting the environment and encourages everyone, both at a personal and corporate level, to make a contribution to a more sustainable future.

“The interaction with school children is an effective way to raise awareness of environmental issues and to reinvest in the community through the environmental education of younger generations,” an official said.
