During the Holy Month of Ramadan, members of the senior leadership team at Qatar Airways visited Rumaillah Hospital for a visit with chronically ill, long-term care and rehabilitation patients.

Packages were created by Qatar Airways staff specifically for the patients, to provide personal hygiene and beauty care items. The Patients warmly welcomed the airline’s team visit and were touched by the gesture. Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker said: “As an airline firmly grounded in its roots, it is always heart-warming to connect with the community in Qatar and cherish the connections and relationships we have.

“We would like to commend Rumaillah Hospital and Hamad Medical Corporation for their ongoing efforts for their untiring efforts as centers of excellence and care for those requiring medical attention,” commented Al Baker.

The visit was led by Qatar Airways Vice President Employee Services, Mrs. Nabeela Fakhri. “The communities of Qatar are deeply important to the airline, and as a service-focused company, we are very committed to being a pillar of support for the organisations which contribute to the social well-being of our nation.”

The mandate of the Employee Services division of the airline is to facilitate the employee support structure within each department, as well as the airline’s subsidiaries. Qatar Airways is highly committed to supporting organisations in Qatar that positively enhance the societal fabric in which we live.
