Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs held a cultural festival on Thursday, April 30th to mark Heritage Day. Students from various units of the center and members of Arab communities took part in the initiative.

The festival celebrated the heritage of Yemen and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) with areas displaying the different popular dishes and the national dress of both countries. A fashion show was also held as part of the festival, followed by a live portrayal of the traditional wedding ceremonies of both Yeman and the UAE during which female students and other attendees were offered henna inscriptions. The event was a great success as everyone enjoyed the festive atmosphere accompanied by the sound of popular Gulf music.
