College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q) is showcasing its diverse range of offerings, as the Department of Continuing and Professional Education recently held the first-ever CPE networking event with more than 30 professionals attending from Qatar’s top organizations at the College.

The event highlighted the existing and customized courses designed to help different organizations stay at the leading edge of their industry and displayed the endless options that are available through state-of-the-art facilities and cutting edge technology at CNA-Q.

During the event, Dr. Suhaim Khalaf Al-Jossaiman, Academic Manager of the Continuing & Professional Education department provided an overview of the Continuing and Professional Education department. “This is an excellent opportunity for different organizations to see the variety of part-time courses that are designed to help stay at the leading edge of their industry. Our team of subject matter experts works in partnership with clients to develop and deliver solutions tailored to their unique workforce needs,” said Dr. Suhaim Khalaf Al-Jossaiman. “Existing and customized courses and programs emphasize CNA-Q’s many years as the State of Qatar’s premier technical college and utilizes its state-of-the-art facilities, internationally recognized instructors, innovative teaching and learning approaches, and internationally accredited curriculum from: Business Management, Information Technology, Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades, Health Sciences as well as English Language Studies.”

Guests from different organizations such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Municipality and Environment as well as the primary Health Organization toured CNA-Q’s facilities in the School of Business Management and Information Technology, School of Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades and School of Health Sciences. Since its inception in 2002, CNA-Q has grown to offer more than 30 diploma and certificate programs, graduating of thousands students from full-time programs who have populated the workforce in Qatar or pursued further education. This year marks the 18th year that CNA-Q has been providing experiential technical education in Qatar to support the State’s strategic vision to educate, develop and retain young Qataris and transform the state as a knowledge-based economy.
