A training programme, organised by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, for 65 teachers of life and vocational skills courses kicked off in College of the North Atlantic in Qatar (CNA-Q) on Thursday.

The training programme was held on the requirements of university submissions and job skills where the teachers will learn how to give students a number of life skills such as writing personal articles in an outstanding manner. They will learn to teach students how to write successful resumes and the common errors in writing them. In addition, they will learn the difference between personal essays and letters of recommendation and how to successfully conduct an interview for university or work.

The programme also aims to refine the skills of the course teachers and introduce them to modified learning sources. The trainees will learn ways of teaching and communicating information to the student in the simplest way possible, especially so that it gives students social and professional communication skills and how to deal with situations that they may face both academically or professionally.
