Ticketmaster, a division of US-based Live Nation Entertainment, has announced the opening of Ticketmaster Qatar, said Arabian Business. This expansion marks the second office in the Middle East and the 19th Ticketmaster office in the world, the company said in a statement. It added that its move comes two years after making its regional debut in the UAE and as Qatar's economy is growing rapidly and has the highest per capita income in the world.

Alan Ridgeway, Live Nation president of international and emerging markets, added: "Since we started operating in the United Arab Emirates two years ago, we have had numerous requests from international and local event organisers to bring Ticketmaster to Qatar. "I am pleased that we are now able to satisfy this demand and deliver the same level of service to event organisers and ticket buyers in Qatar as they are accustomed to in our other markets around the globe."

Ticketmaster Qatar is led by Ulas Karaoglu and is located in The Gate Mall Bay 2 Tower in West Bay, Doha.
