The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced that tickets for the NBA London Game 2019 featuring the Washington Wizards and the New York Knicks will go on general sale Friday, Oct. 19 at 11 a.m. Doha time at or through The O2 app. The game, which will be played at The O2 on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2019, marks the ninth regular-season NBA game to be played in London in as many years.

In advance of tickets going on general sale, NBA fans are invited to register their details at to gain early access to a limited number of tickets via a presale to be held on Wednesday, Oct. 17 at 11 a.m. Doha time.

The Wizards’ roster currently features All-Star guards Bradley Beal and John Wall, who last season led the Wizards in points and assists, respectively, as well as eight-time NBA All-Star center Dwight Howard. The Knicks’ roster currently features Latvian forward Kristaps Porzingis, French point guard Frank Ntilikina and guard Tim Hardaway Jr. The game will be broadcast by the NBA’s broadcast partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa and on NBA League Pass International. The NBA London Game 2019 represents the Knicks’ third game in the capital, having played regular-season games against the Detroit Pistons in 2013 and the Milwaukee Bucks in 2015.  The Wizards will be playing their first game in the UK.  All eight previous regular-season NBA games in London sold-out.
