Turkish Airlines Qatar hosted its annual Corporate Partner Appreciation Dinner last week. The event, which took place at Sheraton Grand Doha Resort & Convention Hotel, saw the participation of prominent corporates in Qatar.

The event was led by Mr. Mehmed Zingal, General Manager of Turkish Airlines’ Qatar office, and celebrated all members of the Turkish Airlines Corporate Club in Qatar. TACC (Turkish Airlines Corporate Club) is an exclusive program for Turkish Airlines corporate clients where the members receive a wide array of benefits. The Turkish Airlines’ global reach, coupled with the corporate travel program – offering member businesses discounted tickets, penalty-free reservation changes and special baggage allowances, among other benefits at no cost – proves incentive enough for numerous global companies to choose Turkish flag carrier.

The 1st best-selling corporate award went to the Tekfen Construction, the company leading on the construction of the beautiful Al-Thumama Stadium and a number of other remarkable projects. Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC), Qatar’s largest healthcare provider, came in 2nd, while Urbacon General Contracting, the leading construction planning and development company in Qatar who has delivered first-class projects from Lekhwiya Sports Club to Baladna Farm, and from Mall of Qatar to Souq Waqif Car Park, secured the 3rd best-selling corporate award.

“Qatar has always been a crucial market for us with its world-class infrastructure and excellent airport serving as a gateway to this region and beyond. And existing close relations between two countries, Turkey and Qatar, has made Doha a more important and valuable destination than ever for Turkish Airlines, and as the flag carrier of Turkey, we look forward to strengthening these ties and collaboration between the two countries by contributing to their aviation fields.” said, Mehmed Zingal, General Manager of Turkish Airlines Qatar office.

The event brought together more than 100 participants – primarily travel experts, top executives from companies, institutions and organizations, current and potential club members – to learn more about the business travel segment and the latest developments in the aviation industry.
