Al Matbakh, the rooftop restaurant and grill at Arumaila Boutique Hotel, part of five-star Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels (SWBH), the luxury hotel collection owned and managed by Al Rayyan Hospitality at the heart of historic Souq Waqif, announced the launch of its new menu today.  This coincides with the completion of the new interior design renovations of the restaurant which reflect the essence of Qatari hospitality and create a unique dining experience for guests.

With spectacular views of the Corniche, the Museum of Islamic Art and FANAR Islamic Cultural Center, Al Matbakh has a retractable roof which can be rolled back weather permitting, to add elegance and sophistication to the occasion.

Guests will have the opportunity to choose from delicious starters and various homemade soups, a wide collection of sea food, meat and poultry dishes from the grill, special traditional Indian Tandoor oven dishes and appetising sweets.

A unique alfresco dining experience 3 [].jpgThe new menu’s meat and poultry choices include Australian Wagyu tenderloin, rib eye and T-bone steaks, New Zealand tenderloin steak, barbecued beef ribs, mutton, camel meat, whole roasted duck and whole marinated mini chicken, served with a wide selection of steak sauces such as mushroom, black pepper, blue cheese and béarnaise. All meat and poultry dishes are served with ratatouille, sautéd potatoes, slow-roasted tomato confit and mushrooms.

The sea food selection suits all tastes and features Rock Lobster, Jumbo Shrimp, Hammour and King Fish fillet and delicious Spanish mackerel fillet. The wide choice of food on the new menu stretches to Indian Tandoor clay oven dishes such as Jumbo Shrimp, Tandoori chicken, Hammour marinated in fresh herbs, lamb Kebab skewers minced with onion and parsley, spiced lamb shank (Raan), Boti Kebab (lamb chops marinated in Tandoor spices) and Murg Malai (chicken marinated in yogurt, garlic and ginger).

To top this exquisite dining sensation, guests can always choose from Al Matbakh’s enticing bitter chocolate and cinnamon date desserts, ice cream and fruits for the grand finale.
