United Development Company (UDC), today announced that Ibrahim Al-Othman has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Company.

Approved by the Board of Directors, Mr. Al-Othman’s appointment follows the revelation last March by the UDC Chairman of the Board during the Annual General Meeting (AGM) that various candidates for the CEO position were being considered and that an appointment should be made within “two to three months’ time.” According to UDC Chairman and Managing Director Turki Al-Khater, Ibrahim Al-Othman is a perfect fit to lead United Development Company. “Mr. Al-Othman is a chief executive who will capably lead United Development Company forward by ensuring it remains results oriented and focused on delivering for our shareholders, clients, residents and employees.”

He further explained, "For six years, Ibrahim has led Gulf Drilling International (GDI) as their Chief Executive Officer, and during this time he has proved to be an outstanding leader who has made a direct impact on the Company’s bottom line.”

How does it feel to fly with the best ?
