The annual blood donation campaign aims to help patients in need by meeting the high demand for blood at all government and private hospitals in the country, and thus seeks to promote health and well-being in Qatar.

"We are pleased to support Hamad Medical Corporation for the second year for such a compassionate cause,” Roger Dagher, Director of Corporate Communications at United Development Company, said. “UDC is committed to giving back to the community, and the blood donation campaign is therefore an integral component of our corporate social responsibilities.”

He added that the blood donation campaign is an important part of UDC’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy, and that this initiative affirms the Company’s commitment to raise awareness and encourage charitable activities that serve and enhance community welfare throughout Qatar. United Development Company is the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar Island. The company plays a key role in the development of Qatar and the region, creating lasting value in the community it serves, and maximizing returns for partners and shareholders.
