Vodafone’s employees volunteering efforts have raised QR50,000 that will go towards Qatar Charity’s Family Sponsorship program, supporting low-income families in Qatar.

For every hour of employee volunteering during the holy month of Ramadan, Vodafone Qatar had pledged to donate QR 1000 to Qatar Charity. A total of 50 hours was spent by Vodafone employees supporting Qatar Charity’s Workers’ Iftar Programme where on a weekly basis employees helped deliver over 400 meals to worker camps in the Industrial City. In addition, Vodafone’s employees volunteered at Qatar Charity’s annual Iftar and Garangao event for Orphans in Qatar where they played with the children and distributed sweets to more than 100 children.
