Supported by Vodafone’s state of the art mobile network, young and old had fun trying a bike simulator that replicates a real outdoor biking experience with options for group rides and races. Playing football and basketball via virtual reality using Vodafone’s 4G network also proved to be a huge hit with visitors.

The Filipino community was also brought closer together this Sports Day with the Vodafone supported “Be fit with Kulinarya Qatar” health and fitness Bazaar that featured a variety of fitness activities, healthy food and even an opportunity to take medical check-ups. “I’m delighted with our staff and the public’s enthusiastic participation in today’s Vodafone activities. His Highness the Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad al-Thani’s initiative to promote sports and fitness in Qatar is of huge public value and something Vodafone is very supportive of so we are proud to have engaged several community groups in this important day,” said Mohamed Al Sadah, Chief Operating Officer, Vodafone.
