When asked what differentiates Wheels ‘n’ Heels, Acting ROTA Director Essa Al Mannai said: “Wheels ‘n’ Heels is one of the most anticipated public events of the year in Doha. It brings together all our communities. It is inspiring to see the turnout and even more inspiring to meet such a variety of different people.”

Reach Out To Asia is committed to creating a movement of volunteers and responsible global citizens within Qatar to actively carry out initiatives which improve the general well-being of local communities and achieves progress towards ROTA’s goal of “Education of All”.

“Volunteers are the backbone of ROTA and do much without expecting anything in return. Volunteering is an important expression of citizenship and essential to democracy, undertaken freely and by choice, without concern for financial gain,” said Sheikha Aisha.

“Wheels ‘n’ Heels 2010 was a remarkable two days and I have many fantastic memories. I’m proud to proud of participating at such event where so many people were given a chance to have fun and be part of charitable activities; I can’t wait for the next Wheels ‘n’ Heels,” says ROTA volunteer.

ROTA Acting Director Essa Al Mannai thanked Wheels ‘n’ Heels 2010 sponsors who contributed to the record fundraising total including Flagship Sponsor Qatar Petroleum, Leadership Sponsor Jaidah Group, Official Fundraiser HSBC, and Official Partner Qatar Cycling Federation.

“We could never achieve this success without the commitment of our supporters. The money raised by Wheels ‘n’ Heels will help communities across Asia and in turn we hope that our sponsors and partners reap the benefits of being associated with such a well-respected cause,” added Essa Al Mannai.
