WWE returns to the Middle East after more than 10 years with the company’s first live event “WWE Presents WrestleMania™ Revenge” in Doha on  April 23 at 7:30pm at the Qatar Sports Club stadium.

This will be the first time WWE (World Wrestling  Entertainment) fans in Qatar can see 30 WWE superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton, The Miz, Sheamus and CM Punk up close and in action for a three-hour event. Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased from Golden Relations representatives available at all Qtel’s Virgin Mobile Service outlets, Golden Relations Office or online at or by calling +97444279060. There are five categories of tickets ranging in prices from QR250 to QR1,000.

Qtel is giving away 150 pairs of tickets for Hala customers who  use eTopUp and 50 pairs of tickets for customers who use ePayment for their monthly bills. Customers who top-up using e-services will also be eligible to win the tickets. Bilal Taha, CEO of Golden Relations, which is organising the event, said at a press conference that it is “a family friendly show, it’s for kids, it’s for everybody.”

WWE superstar Sheamus said: “Myself and the WWE superstars are very excited, and we’re going to put on the best show you could possibly imagine. We’re the top entertainment company in the world, and we’re not going to disappoint.”  Sheamus is currently the US WWE champion, and is enjoying “every second of holding this championship because to me, this is the greatest championship in the world,” much to the ire of American fans who object to seeing an Irishman hold their title. When asked if WWE performances were faked or acted, Sheamus said: “If you think it’s acting, I invite anyone to step into the ring with me and see if I’m acting.”
