An actors' workshop called 'From the Page to the Stage' led by specialists from the London-based Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in Britain (RADA) opens here Sunday at the Katara Cultural Village.

This distinctive workshop, in association with the British Council here, will be lead by professional trainers from the RADA where they will train participants on ways to address written text and covert it into representative and expressive themes that serve the basic idea of the text.

This will help candidates learn the technical representation and act of the scenes as well as the actor's necessary tools in order to achieve and present the scene out of the written pages straight to the real life stage. The free workshop will help them understand the basic principles and focus on proper planning for the construction of the scene all through the participants' teamwork and an assembly of creative and collective/group exercises.
