“The facilities here in Qatar are overwhelming. The fact that the country is investing so much into sport is amazing and over the last couple of days I have been shown around some of the best sporting facilities that I have ever seen, including the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena where the AIBA World Boxing Championships is taking place. It is quite clear that Qatar will continue to prove itself as the sporting hub of the Middle East and I believe with this infrastructure in place we will continue to see this country hold more and more prestigious sporting events.”
