With its next generation of infotainment and assistance systems, Audi Qatar, represented by Q-Auto, has become the leading vehicle of choice among residents seeking a wholesome user experience. The renowned German automobile manufacturing company has collaborated with leading IT firms to develop revolutionary features in the areas of infotainment that are available across a range of premium Audi models.

Over the years, Audi has achieved a remarkable advancement in its in-car operating concepts, with the latest innovations including the Audi virtual cockpit as well as the Audi smartphone interface and 3D Sound. With the Audi phone box, for instance, drivers can pair their phones with the onboard infotainment system, and get a wireless inductive charge to boot. The applications can be controlled by voice, the rotary/push-button control and the multifunctional steering wheel.

The state-of-the-art Audi virtual cockpit is featured in top-ranging models such as the Audi TT and TTS, and the soon to be launched Q7 model in Qatar. Designed as a fully digital instrument cluster with highly detailed, versatile graphics, the driver can switch the 30cm, all-digital display between two different view modes. Audi’s renowned Audi MMI Navigation plus with MMI touch system is yet another innovative concept. The driver can use the MMI controls, touch pad or voice control to place a call, search for songs or change the settings of the car. The operating system has been designed with the driver in mind and includes a range of user-friendly functions.

Some of the features include a hard drive for navigation, music and telephone data, a high-resolution color monitor and 3D map graphics, a DVD player as well as voice control. Furthermore, Audi provides owners a choice to upgrade their equipment with a host of optional features such as a Bluetooth interface, a TV tuner, plus rear seat entertainment, complete with a world-class Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Besides its infotainment systems, many Audi models offer assistance systems that enhance both comfort and safety. Audi’s preventive system ‘pre sense city’ in the Q7 model, for example, features a front-facing camera which can recognize a potential collision. The system warns the driver and initiates emergency braking, if necessary.

Commenting on the brand’s top-notch infotainment and assistant systems, Audi Qatar sales manager Ala Makey said, “We are pleased to be pioneers in ground-breaking automobile technology that has been developed to meet the demands of a modern lifestyle. As a brand, Audi is committed towards redefining road experience, which is evident in its stunning line of Audi models that have set benchmarks in the field of infotainment. We are thrilled to offer Audi enthusiasts in Qatar an opportunity to enjoy in-car entertainment like never before.”

In the coming months, Audi Qatar is set to launch yet another path-breaking feature to its infotainment concept. The removable iPad-like Audi tablet will be a first-of-its-kind infotainment concept specifically developed for in-car use, while meeting all vehicle requirements. The brand’s world-renowned infotainment systems are available across its luxurious line of vehicles available at the Audi showroom on Salwa Road.
