The Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech, has won the Reyada Entrepreneurial Support Award second place during the annual ceremony held by the Social Development Centre (SDC), member of the Qatar Foundation for Social Action, to honour the winners of the SDC’s Reyada and Volunteering Awards. The Volunteering Award, aiming to motivate volunteer work and recognise the efforts exerted in this field, is divided into four categories: the honorary, individuals, projects and research.

“We are very proud to receive this recognition, which reflects Bedaya Center’s positive impact on the Qatari entrepreneurial community through its continued efforts to develop the skills of young entrepreneurs and foster their innovative ideas and projects that contribute to achieving Qatar National Vision 2030. This is based on Bedaya Center’s belief that SMEs have a pivotal role in achieving sustainable economic development,” said Reem Al-Sowaidi, Manager of Bedaya Center.

“We are always ready to cooperate with all interested public and private institutions in encouraging entrepreneurs and SME owners, as partnerships like these will definitely make things easier for them to take the right steps to achieve success,” added Reem Al-Sowaidi, Manager of Bedaya Center.
