Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development, a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and Silatech, participated for the first time at Darb Al Saai festivities with “Dukan Bedaya,”. The celebrations at Darb Al Saai was part of the many events taking place in the country for the National Day.

“Dukan” incubated more than 20 local startup projects from diverse sectors who were participating with their products that were related to the National Day celebrations. The participation of these startups were to support the local products, and to promote them to the end users. In addition, Bedaya was encouraging ambitious youth projects to create a generation of entrepreneurs that take responsibility to build a prosperous future.

On this occasion, Reem Al-Suwaidi, General Manager of Bedaya Center said, “We are taking part for the first time at “Darb al Saai” with the “Dukan Bedaya” initiative. The initiative aims to support small and medium-sized local businesses, established by a group of aspiring and creative Qatari youth, by providing them with space to advertise and showcase their products at a strategic location”. “We are always keen to raise awareness of local projects to help Qatari youth establish and strengthen their projects in a way that facilitates a new generation of entrepreneurs to become strong foundations for building a bright future in Qatar by relying on local industries and projects”.
