A total of 223 of the very best and brightest College of the North Atlantic – Qatar (CNA-Q) students were celebrated for their 2017-2018 academic achievements at a gala ceremony held at the Sheraton Grand Doha Resort and Convention Hotel recently.

The Highest Achiever Scholarship was presented to Business Management Accounting student Shana Parveen Abdurahiman, who had an impressive overall weighted average of 97.80. Scholarships were also awarded to the Highest Achievers from each of the College’s Schools: Business Managment – Christine Menino Mendes; Information Technology – ZainabQazi Ali; Engineering Technology and Industrial Trades – Arslan Mohammad Zahid; Health Sciences - Abdulla Mohammed Ansari.

“These are the top students that CNA-Q has to offer,” said CNA-Q President Dr. Khalifa Al-Khalifa. “They have worked hard, and have made their parents very proud. These students will go on to further their education or into the workforce of Qatar, as the State prepares for QNV 2030. I have no doubt these award winning students will also make Qatar very proud in the future.”

Since its inception in 2002, CNA-Q has grown to offer more than 30 diploma and certificate programs, graduating thousands students from full-time programs who have populated the workforce in Qatar or pursued further education. This year marks the 18th year that CNA-Q has been providing high-quality experiential technical education in Qatar to support the State’s strategic vision to educate, develop and retain young Qataris.
