Under the patronage of HE Mr. Jassem bin Saif Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport and Communications, the Digital Business Incubator (DIC) organized the second edition of the "Hold Your Deal" event.

This was in the presence of a group of Qatari investors and a number of technology companies that are qualified for investment details, including nine local emerging digital companies, among which are ones that are incubated in the Digital Incubator, as the final stage of "Hold Your Deal" second edition. The final stage came after training 20 of the emerging companies in the Qatari market and the selection of the best nine companies to get intensive private sessions, over five days, with the help of a number of guidance experts who were involved in the details of each project. In addition, consultations were offered, and entrepreneurs were prepared for the final stage of projects’ presentations to investors.

On this occasion, Reem Al Mansoori (pictured), Assistant Undersecretary, Digital Society Development Sector, said: "The Ministry's Digital Business Incubator seeks to provide a platform for entrepreneurs in Qatar to develop technology-based companies that serve five key sectors (Transport, Logistics, Environment, Health and Sports) that are in line with Qatar's Smart Tasmu program. Al Mansouri praised the Creative Ideas Camp, which gave winners of the winning ideas the opportunity to join the start-up businesses in the Digital Incubator, which reinforces the entrepreneurial approach that enables them to employ emerging technologies to create innovative products, solutions and services that add value to the digital economy of Qatar.
