The first edition of the Qatar’s Chocolate, Coffee and Tea Festival (CTCF) will be held from January 25 to February 3, 2018 at the Hotel Park – Sheraton in Doha.

Organised by Four and One, the 10-day world-class festival will bring together more than 40 exhibitors, ready to display and pour tasting of their finest Chocolate, Teas and Coffee while introducing the latest award winning technological products. Perched on the lawns of the Hotel Park, the festival is perfect setting for attendees who wish to relax and enjoy samplings, sipping their favorite cold or hot beverages and gazing at the array of dramatic and colorful illuminated high-rise towers of the nearby central business district.

Four and One Chairman, Omran Al Sherawi said “We are pleased to organize the Chocolate, Tea and Coffee Festival in Qatar. It is a fun fiesta for the learner or the coinsurer. The savory carnival not only provides a celebration of decadence and indulgences, but it also brings with it a serious business aspect”. “Global tea and coffee innovations continue to expand as industry communities become more health conscious than ever before, resulting in producers curtailing their products to suit the masses and guests at our festival will be treated to the hottest beverage flavors, tastes and trends.” 

For his part, Treasurer Member of Qatar Culinary Professionals, Yuksel Mutlu said “We are glad to partner with local festivals working closely with them to support the development of the industry in Qatar along with our recommendations to build up stronger foundations and more awareness to this specific industry”. Four and One Chief Executive Officer, Fernando De Guama, said “Tourism is seeing steep growth and surely festivals play a pivotal role within. We are aiming to place the CTC festival as a destination festival to attract local and international clients to experience the continuous development of the industry”.

Commenting on Bedaya Centre’s – responsibility, Entrepreneurship Advisor, Mahmood Al Mahmood said “The main objective of Bedaya Center is to enable entrepreneurs in the fields of professional development and entrepreneurship through diverse mediums and methods”. “These include workshops for basic and advanced skills, which will help them adapt to the local market and launch their projects and products. Today, we will witness the participation of Qatari youth in CTC event at Hotel Park” he added.

The international extravaganza is officially sponsored by Chevrolet, Corona and SNS Trading and Services while Qatar Culinary Professionals will play host to the variety of competitions on hand. Other festival partners include Talabat, Zomato, Urban Point, Lifestyle Equipment Solutions, Marhaba and QTouch Events and Media. The festival will provide seminars from well-known industry pros and pioneers, pairings, tastings, cake making recipes and for the very first time a social media lounge for bloggers with WIFI connected laptops, comfy seats and a collection of free coffees and teas.

The 3500sqm outdoor jamboree has free entry and features children activities, cake decoration competitions, crafting the art of coffee and tea making, as well as pouring challenges. The Hotel Park will play host to over 160 events and festivals during the 2018.
