GEMS Education, the region’s leading education provider, announced the opening of GEMS Wellington School -Qatar. The English National Curriculum school will welcome up to 140 students from FS1 through to Year 6 in the first year and in successive years will grow and expand to include Year 13.

Located in the heart of Al Wakrah, Qatar, GEMS Wellington School is owned and operated by GEMS Education in Qatar and joins the GEMS’ English National Curriculum school network which includes GEMS’ flagship GEMS Wellington International School in Dubai. Dino Varkey, Group Executive Director and Board Member of GEMS Education, said: “We are excited to welcome our first students to GEMS Wellington School - Qatar.
