Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) announced that the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) is collaborating with IBM to train its students in new and emerging technologies through IBM Skills Academy program. IBM Skills Academy is a training and certification program designed to bridge the skills gap between universities and the market industry.

The program will provide HBKU’s CSE students with opportunities to develop future-ready skills in new and emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data analytics and other advancements shaping the global business landscape. It will also provide a hybrid approach to learning, enabling students to participate in an innovative mix of career-driven online courses and classroom-blended training activities. These are not only expected to improve employment prospects but also encourage accelerated economic growth through entrepreneurial activities.
