HEC Paris, ranked number two worldwide in Executive Education by the Financial Times in 2015, has continued to demonstrate its firm commitment towards the welfare of the community by conducting a blood donation campaign.

Held within the premises of HEC Paris in Qatar at the Tornado Tower on 18 January 2016, the event was undertaken in partnership with the Blood Donor Center of the Hamad Medical Corporation. Blood donors included HEC Paris employees, HEC Executive MBA and Specialized Master’s in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM) participants, as well as employees from different offices and companies housed in the same building.

“HEC Paris believes that everyone plays a crucial role in caring and helping others in the community,” said Prof. Laoucine Kerbache, CEO & Dean of HEC Paris in Qatar. “As an institution of higher learning, we also aim to educate and inform others through concrete actions of how we can all come together and assist those in need. We have therefore joined hands with the Blood Donor Center of the Hamad Medical Corporation to help foster a culture of voluntary blood donation.”

Beyond its core activity of consistently delivering high quality business education, HEC Paris actively participates in activities that promote the general well-being of communities and societies.
