After five days of fashion shows, workshops and discussions on beauty and health, Qatar’s trendiest showcase of traditional Arabic attire has come to a close, with a promise to return in October 2016 with the upcoming autumn/winter collection.

In its 9th edition, Heya Arabian Fashion Exhibition attracted thousands of visitors looking to refresh their Ramadan look with the latest collection of abayas, kaftans, jalabiyyas and related accessories. The event included competitions that involved both visitors and participating outlets, as well as the entertaining Wanasa Night, which offered makeovers to visitors. This edition of Heya witnessed a healthy participation of designers from across the GCC. Over a third (37%) of the participants were Qatari designers, while 20%, 17% and 16% hailed from Bahrain, the UAE and Saudi Arabia respectively.
