As the strategic partner for QITCOM 2014, MEEZA, the leading IT services and solutions provider in Qatar, demonstrated a string of innovative solutions during the recently held event at the Qatar National Convention Centre on May 26-28.

At QITCOM 2014, MEEZA successfully showcased the capabilities and features of its three data centres called M-VAULTs as well as its Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Services alongside the introduction of M-VAULT 2, located some 30 kilometres from the centre of Doha. The exhibition of these services was complemented by an insightful presentation delivered by MEEZA’s Chief Technology Officer, Faisal Al Kuwari.

Further, MEEZA’s Chief Alliance Officer, Fadi Nasser, outlined the company’s capabilities and expertise in the creation of “Smart Cities”, with an overarching aim to enhance the quality of life in future cities. Likewise, the capabilities of MEEZA’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) took centre stage at the exhibition as the MEEZA SOC team performed a series of live hacking demonstrations, following a talk on Heartbleed and other IT security threats delivered by Chris Woods, MEEZA’s Information Security Director.
