Within Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation “Kahramaa” efforts to provide best services for its customers; and its striving to achieve the strategic plans to attain the smart shift in its all services; the Corporation provides two electronic services which are inspection, interruption and connecting for all building, properties, and constructions in the country via  e-website km.qa or via Kahramaa App on smart phones.

The number of inspection requests to connect service reach 5.460 till the end of August 2016. The service allows the customer to request for the inspection electronically according to adopted procedure from the construction readiness. If all documents are completed, the contractor and customer will receive a SMS of the inspection’s appointment within three days. They also will be informed about checking results immediately. Kahramaa provides a number of qualified Qatari inspectors who trained with high levels of quality and safety.    

Kahramaa strictly requests all adopted inspectors to not violate connecting procedures and never neglect applying safety and security conditions to save customers; where contractors’ violations reaches 20 company. The connecting and interrupting services could be accomplished electronically where the customer could request the service for new property, meter readers, or paying bills. Within continuous improvement, Kahramaa provides its e-services for customers around clock in order to ease procedures, save time and efforts, and provide best services to customers which ensure distinguished corporation in services’ market which is a strategic objective for Kahramaa.
