QPMC has announced the conclusion of its participation in the exhibition, achieving remarkable and promising results in the investment opportunities and expertise exchange between Saudi and Qatari institutions and companies.

The Minister of Trade and Investment in Saudi Arabia Majed Bin Abdullah Al-Kassabi and the Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar H.E Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al-Sada inaugurated “Made in Qatar 2016” exhibition held last Sunday for the first time outside Qatar in the presence of H.E. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Al-Thani, Qatar Chamber Chairman and a senior delegation of Saudi representatives and businessmen in Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

Al-Kassabi and the Saudi delegation had a tour in the exhibition and stopped at the QPMC exhibition booth, where Engineer Eisa Al-Hammadi, QPMC Chief Executive Officer explained the mechanism of Qatar’s mega-scale achievement, the Conveyor Belts also known as the Bulk Materials Handling System (BMHS) which is wholly-owned by the government of Qatar, built, developed and completed at Mesaieed Port under the umbrella of QPMC; in collaboration with several prestigious governmental authorities: Qatar’s Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Qatar’s  Ministry of Transport & Communications, Qatar’s Ministry of Energy and Industry, Qatar’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (KAHRAMAA).

The country’s flagship mega-scale accomplishment, the Conveyor Belts / BMHS,  is managed and operated by QPMC. QPMC delegation have highlighted that QPMC will be hosting an announcement ceremony, in the coming few weeks, aimed at revealing the BMHS operation strategy and its impact. Engineer Eisa Al-Hammadi thanked the Qatari Chambers for “offering the QPMC this opportunity, as the exhibition enables the Saudi and Qatari companies to promote investment opportunities and mutual introduction of major projects”. Al-Hammadi said: “We are proud to participate as a Diamond Sponsor of the exhibition, as we are certain that our presence here today on this occasion, represents a national mission, not only at the Qatari level but also at the Saudi and Gulf levels. This mission aims at laying the base of cooperation and integration between our countries and nations”.

"I stand here to shed a light on the new leading step which Qatar Chamber has taken the lead in and is represented by holding this exhibition in Saudi Arabia and the participation of QPMC as a Diamond Sponsor, is one of the steps towards the process of development planning, action and execution culture, promoting the cooperation between the GCC countries and opening new horizons for investments, exchange of knowledge and expertise, strengthening of the national economy, and the sustainable development plan in order to attain and achieve the 2030 Qatari vision”, concluded Engineer Eisa Al-Hammadi.
