As many as 451 traffic cases were reported during July 2017, registering a monthly decrease of 7.4 percent compared to June, 2017, when it recorded a total of 487 cases, says the monthly report of Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics (MDPS). 

The 43rd edition of 'Qatar, Monthly Statistics' reveals further that 11 deaths in traffic accidents were recorded during July, 2017. According to the MDPS monthly bulletin for July, 3,839 new vehicles were registered showing a decline of 14.1 percent compared to June, 2017, when 4,471 new vehicles were registered. Besides, a total number of 2,205 births and 172 death cases were registered in July, 2017. The total number of registered marriages was 299, while the total number of divorce cases was 63 during the period.
