The Ministry of the Interior organised an awareness seminar for representatives of the Asian communities in the country, joined by many departments of the ministry. 

The seminar discussed different topics such as an introduction to the services provided by the Unified Services Department, awareness on the dangers of drugs and how to be protected from it, road and public safety and how to deal with risks and fires. The seminar presented the missions of the Unified Services Department, which aims to facilitate the completion of many services of the Ministry of Interior through sixteen centers, spread out across the country and receives visitors from 6 am to 6 pm. The department offers its services to citizens, residents and companies such as visa services, residency approvals, transfer of sponsorship and registration of companies. 

The seminar provided guidance on the concept of safety and its requirements, especially the safety of pedestrians, safety of driving motorcycles and how to use them in traffic congested areas. The seminar confirmed the need to take all safety measures during driving and follow all rules issued by the General Directorate of Traffic for the safety of road users. It also addressed the problems of trucks and the danger they cause while driving on highways, and called on road users to adhere to the tracks identified for trucks as well as the timings of when they are allowed to drive these vehicles.

The General Directorate of Civil Defense also gave a presentation on the fire extinguishers and how to use them and deal with the fire, informing them of shelter process, as well as the evacuation plan in case of emergency, such as a fire or natural disaster, how to deal with it, procedures to be followed in the event of such accidents. The Directorate also distributed pamphlets and brochures to the audience.
