Movenpick Hotel Doha has announced the latest additions to the hotel's management team, Ms. Ruwaida Abela and Mr. Walaa El Sayed. Ms. Ruwaida Abela has been appointed as Communications Manager; she joins the Movenpick Hotel Doha from Merwebhotel Central Doha, where she held the position of PR & Marketing Manager. Having previously worked with InterContinental Hotels Group, Starwood and The Ritz Carlton, Ruwaida brings with her years of experience across North Africa, Europe and the GCC.

Ruwaida will be responsible for marketing, branding, public relations and all communication activities of the hotel.

Mr. Walaa El Sayed takes over the role of Director of Sales. Walaa has accumulated a wealth of experience with various brands such as The Address, Jumeirah and Fairmont in the UAE.

In addition to the substantial task of leading the hotel's sales force, Walaa is responsible for generating maximum revenue through implementing effective sales strategies and promotions.

Speaking of the recent appointments, Fabien Chesnais, General Manager, stated: "We are very pleased to welcome both Ruwaida and Walaa to the team and I am positive that with their extensive experience and commitment to excellence they will prove to be a vital asset. Also, as the hotel is currently undergoing soft refurbishment and renovation works we are gearing up to hit the market with full force."
