Ooredoo hosted a business event at its headquarters in Doha this week, aiming to enable technology executives from a range of Qatar’s leading enterprises to explore the potential of smart solutions for their company. As Qatar’s preferred communication provider, Ooredoo has expanded its range of business services in 2015. The event demonstrated a number of new offerings in the market, including the new Business USSD interactive menu service from Ooredoo, which was launched in April 2015.

The service provides companies with the capacity to offer a fully-supported USSD driven-menu to provide customers with interactive capabilities on all kinds of mobile phones. There was also a session on Ooredoo’s new roaming Business Passport Cards, which enable people to top-up their roaming service as much as they want when they travel. For large companies with significant travelling workforces, the Passport Card provides a highly-manageable solution for reducing travel communication expenses.

Waleed Al Sayed, Chief Operating Officer, Ooredoo, commented: “We are committed to providing the latest, most innovative products for our business customers, which is why we invest in an expanding portfolio of ICT services. Our corporate events offer companies an update on the latest generation of business services, as well as providing them with new ideas on increasing effectiveness and managing costs.” The event also discussed the benefits of the new Ooredoo Cloud Voice and Collaboration Suite, and its Managed Storage and Backup service, which provides secure and highly scalable data storage in a private cloud.
