Qtel’s network of first-of-a-kind Business Solutions Centres are being boosted by an enhanced range of experts and dedicated service teams, it was announced today. The Centres are full-service facilities that support the communication needs of companies in Qatar.

Qtel opened the first wave of Business Solutions Centres in 2009, providing a vital source of support for companies in Qatar, and enabling people to drop-in and ask questions about challenging technology and communication issues. Now, Qtel is increasing the number of Centres, and boosting the level of support provided by each one.

With a full team of experts at each Centre, the facilities were the first of their kind to offer direct advice and consultancy in-store, as well as providing high-level business services, including BlackBerry solutions, remote connections, Ethernet, ADSL and Enterprise hosting, to visiting customers and local businesses.

Eng. Khalid Abdulla Al Mansouri, Executive Director, Business Solutions, Qtel, said: “Our Business Solutions Centres have provided an important resource for local companies, enabling them to meet with experts to discuss their needs, and offering an immediate connection to a range of advanced services. Now, we are extending the range of resources provided, so that we continue to support businesses throughout Qatar. These unique facilities build on Qtel’s heritage as the preferred provider of world-class business services in Qatar.”

The first Business Solutions Centre is based in Al Wakrah city, and the facility has provided ongoing support throughout the process of upgrading community facilities in the area. The second Business Solutions Centre, in Al Khor, has proven to be equally effective in providing on-the-ground support in that area.

Reflecting Qtel’s approach to targeted customer support, these Business Solutions Centres are co-located with Qtel Shops, so that consumers and companies can immediately access the correct support service to meet their needs.

Qtel now offers two new facilities.  A dedicated facility at the Ministry of Business and Trade is already open, to ensure that companies across Qatar have access to expert consultancy wherever and whenever they need it. A second Qtel Business Solutions Centre is set to open in Salwa Road shortly.

In addition, the company is increasing the number of Business Solutions experts at each of the Centres.

Qtel has developed a range of specialist services for business, including high-speed Internet, fixed and mobile solutions and the latest range of reliable BlackBerry solutions.

Qtel plans to continue to extend the reach of the dedicated Business Solutions Centres in the coming months, to support Qatar’s ongoing dynamic growth and development. The company will also continue to provide defined resources for corporate clients and consumers, with separate helpline services (800-8000 for businesses) and dedicated help desks.
