Qatar Cancer Society (QCS) will take part in Qatar International Medical ‎Congress 2016 (QIMC) to be held at the Doha‎ Exhibition‎ & Convention‎ Centre May 18 - 20.

The event will feature lectures on ways to prevent cancer and factors that ‎increase the likelihood of its occurrence. QCS will also have an awareness ‎pavilion at the exhibition alongside the conference. ‎This participation comes within the framework of the Society’s efforts aimed at promoting health awareness and education on cancer, its responsibility towards having a society enjoying health and wellness, which is in line with the Qatar National Vision, as well as meeting all the requirements and needs of the Qatari society in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.

This version comes to reinforce the great success achieved by the first version in 2015, which is an ideal opportunity for the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the poles of the international medical community, as well as support of the most prominent human development components necessary to achieve the Qatar National Vision 2030, through its contribution in advancing the application of care strategy national health, As well as to highlight the most important medical innovations for the healthcare sector and to all research institutions operating in Qatar.

The exhibition will also focus on the well-deserved acknowledgement of the people in this field. Mariam Al Naemi – General Manger said " the conference an opportunity to strengthen the role of the charity in the creation of a healthy society in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which has made the health sector is a key partner in all fields until it became the focus of attention of the world through the achievements of the comprehensive renaissance in various sectors.
