Fahad Nasser Al-Naimi, General Secretary of Qatar Golf Association said: “We thank Qatargas for its ongoing support to Qatar Golf Association. This is the fourth season in a row that Qatargas has sponsored the Junior Golf Programme. The objective of the programme is to improve the standard of golf among the juniors with various teaching programs and weekly competitions throughout each golf season.  Qatargas’ support will definitely help our objective at the Qatar Golf Association to see a whole team of new young Qatari golfers trained and equipped for future golf in Qatar.”

The Golf Association in cooperation with Doha Golf Club organises weekly golf competitions throughout the year, except during the summer period.  Junior Qatari players of the Golf Association as well as Doha Golf Club participate in these events.
